A new South Korea airline to start operating flights to Vietnam

TTO - Air Premia, a newly established Korean airline, has set up a strategy to enter Vietnamese market, connecting Seoul and Ho Chi Minh City with a frequency of 4 flights/week. The airline appoints Flyone as its general agent, opening official ticket sales to Vietnamese customers.
Mr. Yunhak Jung, director of international sales of Air Premia, said that the airline is planning to prepare for first passenger flight of Air Premia from early October 2022 between Seoul - Ho Chi Minh City with 4 flights/week.
 
The airline also plans to fly from Seoul to Hanoi in 2022 or early 2023 at latest.
 
In order to present new airline operations in Vietnam market, Mr. Yunhak Jung said that he has appointed Flyone as their general agent, on behalf of Air Premia to sell products, provide booking services and take care of customers of Air Premia in Vietnam.
 
The official opening date for ticket sales in Vietnam is August 25.
 
Air Premia is a newly established Korean airline headquartered in Seoul, operating on a hybrid model and operating the new B787 family of aircrafts.
 
Not only Air Premia, many "foreign" airlines continue to open new markets in Vietnam. Myanmar Airways International (MAI) will start operating direct flights to Vietnam with the Yangon - Noi Bai route with 2 flights/week from September 16.
 
From September 22, MAI will operate the route Yangon - Ho Chi Minh City with one round-trip flight per week on Thursday. All flights are operated by the airline using Airbus A320 aircrafts.
